Irving W. De Foor, 98, a resident of New Mexico since 1924, died Sunday, August 24, 2008. He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Arlene De Foor; son, Kyle De Foor and wife, Dottie, all of Albuquerque; step-children, Darla Tarwater and husband, Johnny of Ft. Worth, TX, James Poland and wife, Debbie of Albuquerque, Jane Taylor and husband, Doug of Clyde, TX, and Jeff Poland and wife, Opal of Kerrville, TX; grandchildren Kathy Seal, Carol Miller, Charles Scheffler, Shannon De Foor, Richard De Foor, David De Foor, Beth De Foor; step-grandchildren Shane Mason, Robert Poland, Beth Darnell, Amber Taylor, Brittney Taylor, Ashley Poland, Erica Poland; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mr. De Foor was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred De Foor, sons, Richard De Foor and Michael De Foor, and daughter, Martha Rose De Foor. Services will be held Friday, August 29, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at Mountainside Church of Christ, 12300 Indian School Rd NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
