Reymundo S. Baca, 82, born in San Fidel, NM and a resident of Albuquerque passed away August 23, 2008. Mr. Baca is survived by his loving wife of sixty two years, Delfida; two children, Candido (Kiki) Baca and wife, Jeannette, Mela Romero and husband, Ronnie; eight grandchildren, Angela, Paul, John John, Leonardo, Reymundo, Lucas, Julianna, Marcos; ten great-grandchildren, Robert, Hiilei, Mapuana, Mariah, Nanea, Elijah, Trinity, Nevaeh, Bear, Carissa; sisters-in-law, Esther Ramsey and Lydia Baca; brother-in-law, Ralph Chavez and wife, Toni; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Baca is preceded in death by his three children, Tommy, Sandra, Shivers; two granddaughters, Reymunda and Gennine. Mr. Baca was a member of the Catholic Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving with the 84 Infantry Division during W.W.II. He was the owner opertator of Rey's P.D.Q. and retired from the Department of Labor after seventeen years. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2008 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a Communion Service at 11:00 a.m, Deacon Gene Tuma, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with full Military Honors. Pallbearers are Leonardo Baca, Reymundo Romero, Lucas Baca, Robert, Spackeen, Raymond Savedra, Lawrence Baca.
