Obituary for QUINTANA

Jose Arambula Quintana, 75, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at his home. He was born October 7, 1932 in Lordsburg, NM a son of Jose and Brigida Quintana. He retired from Albuqueruqe Public Schools as an administrator. After retirement he served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay. Survivors include daughter Janice Quintana,Washington, D.C. and son Eduardo Quintana, Albuquerque; his ex-wife and friend Natalia Quintana, Albuquerque; sisters; Clara Aguilera, Maria Luisa Garcia, Joaquina Sanchez, and Dolores Kern. He was also survived by his companion and dear dog; Oso. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria Christina Quintana; brothers Miguel Martinez and Daniel Quintana. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, August 25, 2008 at 9:00 AM at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Drive NW.
