Obituary for C'DE BACA

Nevarez A. C' de Baca, a resident of Albuquerque went into the hands of the Lord on August 16, 2008. Mr. C'de Baca was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Marianita C' de Baca, four sisters and one brother. Navarez is survived by one brother, Philip C' de Baca , Jr., of Colorado Springs, Co., four sisters, Alberia C' de Baca, Dora Sanchez and husband, Arthur, Margaret Trujillo and husband, Flavio, all of Albuquerque, and Lupe Garcia of Jemez Springs; and many nephews and nieces. Nevarez was a very devout Catholic, and was a member of the Third Order of St. Frances for many years. He loved singing and was a member of the Catholic Church Choir and had a host of friends. Navarez was a retired school teacher from Albuquerque Public School System having taught many years at Garfield Middle School. Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2008, 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Father Ron Carillo, presider. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Celso Armijo, Benjamin Duran, John Paul Duran, George Jaramillo, David Bachelor, and Ed Lucero. Honorary pallbearers will be Orlando Chavez, Richard Campos, Rickie Campos, Ron Jaramillo, George Lucero, Carl Guevara, Delano Bennett, and all his nephews and nieces.
