Ephraim David "Ponce" Torres, Jr, 32, was called home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2008. He was born to parents David and Carmen Torres on June 6, 1976. He is survived by his daughters, Christina and Tanya Torres; their mother Yolanda Macias; his parents David and Carmen Torres; sister Lisa Cogburn and husband Chuck; brother Vincent Torres and fiancee Theresa Quesada; his nephew Adam Cogburn, and niece Alyssa Cogburn; many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He loved playing with his daughters and making them laugh. He also enjoyed watching his Denver Broncos with his nephew Adam. A viewing will take place on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Riverside Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 9 a.m., also at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chuck Cogburn, Robby Cogburn, Jacob Diaz, Paul Garcia, George Teupell, and Bill Worden. Honorary pallbearers are Christina and Tanya Torres, and Adam and Alyssa Cogburn.
