Herman L. Dern, age 85, a resident of Albuquerque for 28 years, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Dorothea; one son, Martin and wife Kimberly; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Rebecca and Christian; one great-grandson, Elijah; and four brothers, Harry, Frank, Joseph and David; two sisters, Beverly and Audrey. He was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. Graveside Services will be held Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
