Edward L. Mc Lain, 72, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born July 27, 1936, in South Gate, CA, to John D. and Myrtie Mc Lain. Edward was a resident of Albuquerque since 1958. He was a charter member of Gethsemane Chapel, hobbies of amateur car racing, NASCAR Racing, and traveling in the family motor home. Edward is survived by his wife Dee of almost 45 years; three children, Chuck Mc Lain, of Yorba Linda, CA, Rene Plante, of California, and Ed L. Jr. and wife Chris of Rio Rancho; four grandsons, Chad, Jamie, Skyler, Max; one special granddaughter, DeAnja; Papa's girl; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Ernie Mc Lain and wife Bernice of Norwalk, CA, Lowella Parker and Ludella Gallagher of Twenty Nine Palms, CA. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2008, from 3 - 7 p.m., at the Daniels Family Funeral Services, on Wyoming. Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Tony Jaramillo, will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 10:30 a.m., at Gethsemane Chapel, with interment to follow at Sandia Memory Gardens Cemetery.
