Obituary for MILNER

William Edwin "Ed" Milner of Albuquerque, NM passed away on June 9, 2008. The only child of Avery and Mabel Milner, he was born in Houston, TX, on June 13, 1919 and grew up in Temple, TX. He graduated from Temple High School and served in the US Army from 1941-1945. Following his military service, he graduated from Baylor University and was employed for 32 years as the scenery director for WBAP-TV (KXAS) in Fort Worth, TX. He retired in 1983 and moved to Albuquerque in 1992. He is survived by Margaret, his wife of 62 years; son, Bill Milner and wife Susan of Asheboro, NC; daughter Peggy Loney and husband Roger of Columbus, GA; and by grandchildren Joe Milner of Asheboro, NC, and Rebecca and Rachel Loney of Columbus, GA. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM at 3:00 p.m. on August 8, 2008 followed by a Memorial Service in Ute Park, NM the following afternoon.
