Lugie Gurule Gariss, age 73, a resident of Jarales, NM, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008 after a long-illness. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, beginning with a viewing on Sunday, August 3, at 12:30 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at San Lorenzo Cemetery in Abo, NM on Monday, August 4, at 10:00 a.m. The family request that donations be made in Lugie's name to Our Lady of Belen Building Funding, 101 N. 10th Street, Belen, NM 87002.
