Billy Franklin Smith, 31, left us July 23, 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Bailey, 3, whom he loved deeply. He leaves his mother, Cathy and step-father, David Grife y Vigil; father, Gary Lee and step-mother, Tina Smith; grandparents, Bill and Yvonne Smith, Myrtle Sparks, Betty Thurber; brothers, B. Jay Smith, David Grife, Mark Grife and families; ex-wife, Amber Smith; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who are left to mourn his passing. He graduated from Eldorado High School, 1995, was a professional electrician, and owned B.A.B. Electric. Memorial Services are planned for Sunday August 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Church, 3901 Claremont Ave NE, Albuquerque 87110. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Bailey Smith Legacy Account at any Branch of the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union.
