Obituary for JACOBI

Florence M. Jacobi, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 31, 2008. She is survived by four children, David Muth and wife, Marsha of Phoenix, AZ, Kathleen Ross and husband, Lonnie of Albuquerque, Mary Chapel of Bosque Farms, Danny Muth and wife, Martha of Denver, CO; stepson, Chuck Jacobi and wife, Sherri of Las Vegas, NV; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jacobi; and granddaughter, Kimberly Chapel. Florence was born and raised in Springfield, OH and moved to Albuquerque in 1957. She was employed with American Car and Foundry (ACF) from 1959 to 1967 and then employed by the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) from 1967 to 1969. Florence was a member of Calvary Chapel and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Florence had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a wonderful cook, loved to fish at Vallecito Lake with her husband Charlie, play cards and games at family gatherings, and loved to listen to music. Memaw was the center of our family and will be greatly missed. A private Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual Blvd. NE.
