Ruth Patterson, 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1996, died Friday, July 18, 2008. She was born August 25, 1914 in Albany, NY to Frederick and Grace Pfahl. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Allen Patterson. Ruth is survived by her son, Michael Patterson and wife Lorraine of Edgewood, NM; grandson, Christopher Michael Patterson and Janice LaSalle of Edgewood; brother, George and Eleanor Ecker of Glenmont, NY; and nieces Donna and Sandy Patterson. She retired from Montgomery Ward and was very active in her church work at Our Savior's Lutheran in Schenectady, NY. She and Allen relocated to Albuquerque to be closer to family. Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 24, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE.
