Kathleen Hager "Kay" was born July 12, 1924 in Gallup, NM. Our beloved and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008. Kay thoroughly enjoyed taking jeep trips, camping, and crocheting. Her greatest loves were being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and spending time with her family. Kay will be remembered as a very special lady who was an excellent role model to her family. She always exhibited such grace and dignity even in her times of adversity. She will be dearly missed. Kay was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Calvin Red Hager; and by her precious grandson, Jason Greaves. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Sharon Greaves and her husband Stephen Cotton of Rio Rancho, NM, Marlene Zagar and her husband Steve of Albuquerque; her brother, Bill Glover and his wife Barbara of Austin, TX; five grandsons, Michael Zagar and wife Emily, Kyle Zagar and Caitlin Proffer, Zac Zagar, Adam Cotton, Christopher Cotton and his wife Shelley; one great-granddaughter, Abby Zagar and one great-grandson on the way, Benjamin Zagar; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her greatly. A Crypt side Funeral Service will be held outdoors at the Mausoleum of Vista Verde Memorial Park Cemetery, 4310 Sara Rd.
