John Collin Watt, 89, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008, in Albuquerque NM. He was born October 3, 1918 in Newport, ME to Collin C. and Lena Watt. John is survived by; one daughter, Susan Watt Young; one son, Colin Watt; one grandchild, John Young, all of Albuquerque, NM, as well as various nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, of over 50 years, Ruth, in 2002. John was a resident of Albuquerque, NM, since 1967. He was a devoted gardener, WWII Veteran, and was retired from Ross Aviation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his honor to the Education Fund of the Rio Grande Nature Center, 2901 Candelaria NW, Albuquerque, NM, 87107. No services scheduled at this time, cremation has taken place.
