Obituary for HAUGE

Jerald Oliver Hauge, age 67, longtime resident of the Albuquerque area, passed away at sunrise surrounded by his wife and children, on July 7, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elizabeth (Betty), children; Eric Hauge, Joseph Hauge, Jennie and Garrett Robinson and their children Sarah and Karen, Samuel and Misty Hauge and their son, Devon, Robert and Cheryl Hauge and their children, Thade, Tristen, and Dylan, JoAnne and Nathan Bishop and their children, Trenton, and Kara, and Rebecca Hauge. He is also survived by three sisters; Shirley Oines, Betty Hauge, and Judy and Al Lynch, and one brother, Arlan and Katherine Hauge, and several nieces and nephews. Jerald was born on April 14, 1941 in Lac qui Parle County, MN, to the late Salmer and June Hauge. He served his country as a Green Beret in the United States Army from 1963-1966. Jerald was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church where he held many leadership positions including Council President. He was a strong man, and his joy was his family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Ambercare Hospice and St. Catherine Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2008 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at French Mortuary-Lomas Blvd. Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11 a.m., at Messiah Lutheran Church, 11515 Lomas Blvd. NE.
