Ann K. Tverdik, age 69, passed away July 1, 2008. She was born September 5, 1938 in Torrance, CA . Ann was a woman with a vibrant smile and a kind heart. She would do anything for her family and friends. She knew what she wanted and worked hard to get it. She touched the hearts and lives of all she knew. She found great friends in her favorite pastime, "The Lucky Ones" online gaming league. They were not just gaming buddies, but a constant source of friendship, happiness and support. Her legacy is four children that she taught to be loving, passionate, and compassionate. By her example, she showed them they have the inner strength and love to overcome any challenges. We will miss her. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Tverdik. She is survived by two daughters, Julie Salazar and Judith Reese; two sons, William Reese and Randall Reese; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Darleen Johnson; other family and friends who loved and will miss her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Shrine of Saint Bernadette 1800 Martha NE 87112 on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 9 a.m. with reception to follow at the church.
