Richard G. Valencia. Mr. Valencia was born on November 7, 1945 in New Mexico. Mr. Valencia was 62 years old at the time of his death. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Valencia enjoyed the tranquility being outside and in the presence of nature. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family. As a man of many interests, he was an entrepreneur and free spirit. Mr. Valencia's last residence was in Los Lunas, New Mexico. The death occurred at home in comfort as was his last wish. Mr. Valencia is survived by wife Misty Valencia of Los Lunas, New Mexico. Surviving children are, Janelle Chavez, Vince Valencia, Pamela and Emilio Esquivel, Julie Fossett, and Daniel Smith. Surviving grandchildren are, Timothy, Sergio, Angelica, Brandi, Steven, Kayla, and Mikey. Mr. Valencia will be remembered by many other friends and relatives and will be greatly missed by all. Services in remembrance of Richard Valencia will be held at The Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. A Rosary will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. and Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m.
