Amanda McDonald, 23, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, June 29, 2008. She is survived by her children, Raelynn Garduno and Eddie Garduno; mother, Abby McDonald; brothers, Christian McDonald, Adrian McDonald and Nathan McDonald; sister, Katie McDonald; grandmother, Bertha Howell; boyfriend, Joseph "Markey" Dye and his family; and many many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Wayne McDonald; grandparents, Sadie and Rusty McDonald. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 7:00 p.m., at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St. NW. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 3, 2008, 9:00 am, at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Entombment will take place at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In her short life, Amanda had many passions. Among them were camping, fishing, dancing, music, and the ability to help people less fortunate than herself. The simple pleasures brought her the greatest joys of her life.
