Obituary for LONGACRE

Robert Longacre, age 72, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, and formally of Santa Fe, NM, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2008, after a long illness. He was a member of the San Clemente Catholic Church, in Los Lunas. Robert was retired from the I.U.O.E. Local #953 after 25 years of outstanding service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Robert was a man of many talents and enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved working with wood and he was quite a gourmet cook. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Celia (Friday) Longacre of Santa Fe, NM. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lita Longacre; daughter, Kellie Gonzales and husband, Al; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Bobbie Rae, Zipporah and husband, Mark, Tim and wife, Tina, Al III and wife, Ming; sister, Lil Anderson and husband, Lloyd and brothers, Elmer Longacre and Butch Longacre and wife, Dolores. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends. All Services will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church, on Thursday, July 3, beginning with a visitation at 9:00 a.m. with a rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Doug Mitchell presiding. Interment will follow at San Clemente Catholic Cemetery.
