Marvin Hastings Hill, 86, local businessman, owner of Educational Media Company, was born July 23, 1921, in Oklahoma City, OK, son of Edgar C. Hill and Georgia Hastings Hill. He died June 18, 2008, at home. An Albuquerque resident for 61 years, he was a World War II veteran, P-38 pilot. He has been a member of the Elks Club, QB's, Red Red Rose, Air National Guard, and the Soaring Club. He is survived, and dearly loved, by his wife, Anne; son, Ron Hill and wife, Renee, San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Shane Hill, Santa Cruz, CA, Trace Hill and wife, Dania and son, Dominic, Pacific Beach, CA, and Sedona Hill, San Diego, CA; brothers, Paul Thompson and wife, Merry Lynne, Oklahoma City, OK, and Bill Hill, Tularosa, NM. A Memorial and Reception honoring his life will be Monday, June 30, 2008, 11:00 a.m., at 415 Live Oak Ct, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122, Sandia Heights. A Ceremony at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM, will be conducted in the afternoon. Donations may be sent to the charity of your choice.
