Rebecca M. Villanueva, age 79, a resident of Bosque, NM, passed away unexpectedly at an Albuquerque hospital on Saturday, June 7, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank O. Villanueva; her brother, Antonio Montoya, and daughter-in-law, Carol. She is survived by one daughter, Gloria and her husband, Macario Mendez; three sons, Frank Villanueva Jr., Freddie Villanueva and his wife, Erlinga, and Lawrence Villanueva; six grandchildren, Jennifer Villanueva, Roseann Peralta, Becky Villanueva, Jake Villanueva, Matthew Villanueva and Jo Villanueva; two great-grandchildren, Nicole Peralta and Matthew Villanueva Jr. and many friends and neighbors. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home of Belen Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday June 13, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
