Verna Ruth Lofstrom, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at her home. She was born August 12, 1915 in Altoona, PA, the daughter of the late Gustav Robert Seaberg and Iva Taylor. She graduated from Altoona High School class of 1933 and then earned an Associate degree from the Altoona School of Commerce. Verna married Arnold T. Lofstrom in 1937. She is survived by her three sons, Rod and Joel of Albuquerque and Ivan of Burbank, CA; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Kermit of Altoona, PA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold T. Lofstrom; brothers, Melvin, Ivan, Orvis and Bruce; and a granddaughter. Verna was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and the Scandinavian Club of Albuquerque. Interment of the cremated remains will take place in Grandview Cemetery in Altoona, PA.
