Mary Pocohontas Jolly Laws passed away March 23, 2008. She was born on September 19, 1922 in Baton Rouge, LA to parents Clarence Alley Jolly and Miriam Lurline McMahon. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Alma and is survived by her husband, Randy; son, Timothy; daughter-in-law Wendy; and sister, Lurline Jolly. She volunteered for service in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1943-45. Mary graduated from UNM with a BFA Drama in 1951. She taught ESL while living in Denver and San Francisco, she also volunteered at various museums in San Francisco. Mary was recognized as a superb cook especially with Louisiana Cuisine. Mary loved giving parties and telling funny stories. We will be celebrating her life at a party on June 14, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Sizzler Restaurant, 7212 Menaul NE, Albuquerque, NM.
