Daniel R. Garcia, age 61, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 with his family at his side. Daniel was born February 27, 1947. He Honorably served his country in the United States Air Force in Korea. Daniel will be remembered for his love of sailing. He will be greatly missed by everyone he knew and we will all especially miss his sense of humor. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Daniel G. Garcia. He is survived by his mother, Laura Garcia; his children, Tonya Garcia, Michelle Garcia-Kennedy, Jeff Garcia and Jennifer Garcia; three grandchildren, Jason Garcia, Arianne Garcia and Maya Garcia; his sisters, Pauline Breidenbach and her husband Tony, Linda Gallegos and her husband Herald and Virginia McIntyre; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming NE. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services 2919 4th ST. NW.
