Georgia F. Ritchey, a 45 year resident of Albuquerque, previous 12 year resident of Belen died Tuesday, May 20, 2008. She is survived by her son, Ron; daughter-in-law Gina; two grandchildren, Stephen and Necia of Reno, NV; sister, Dorothy Roache of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Georgia was born in Allenreed, Texas on April 12, 1924 and graduated from Las Vegas, NM High School in 1942. She and her husband, Bill celebrated 60 wonderful years in marriage prior to Bill's death in 2003. Georgia, in addition to being a mother first, had various business skills from being a telephone operator, an accountant and a public school food handler. She enjoyed arts and crafts, bowling, reading, playing cards and writing poetry. Services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2008, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Interment will follow. Friends may visit Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, one hour prior to service.
