Donna Marie Marquez, a New Mexico resident for 47 years passed away May 19th, 2008 after fighting a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her mother, Edith Schlieter, Alb; her brother, Willard Schlieter, Pensacola Fl and her six children, Rita Hoak, Poulsbo, Wa; Teresa Pickle, Alb; Connie Cappadona, Oakton, VA; William Pickle, Alb; Jadean Mallon, Alb, NM and Ruth Morris, Beaverton, OR. She had six grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was a devoted and loving Mother; and a dedicated employee who worked 20 plus years at Kirtland including until the time of her death. She enjoyed fishing, reading and crocheting. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Her memorial Service is on Friday, May 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Cathloic Chruch, 833 Arizona SE. She will be buried in Arab, Alabama on May 29th at the Marshall Memorial Gardens. She will be buried next to her husband, Juan Marquez and her father, Willard Schlieter.
