Emanuel (PaPa Cool) Davis born January 4, 1926, passed away April 26, 2008. Cremation has taken place. Mr. Davis was born in Frankfort, Kentucky and came to Albuquerque in the early 50's with childhood friends, the Basey's. After retiring from the GE Aircraft Plant in Alb in the early 90's Davis spent his days fishing at Isleta Lake or riding his red pee wee Herman bicycle equipped with a radio and horn, in the downtown area or around town. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father, John R. Davis Sr., and mother, Bettie Davis. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Restoration Ministeries Church, 824 San Mateo SE. (Parking in the rear on Ortiz SE)
