Stephen Rivera, 50 years old. Loving son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away suddenly May 9, 2008. Born in Silver City, NM, long- time resident of Albuquerque. He attended Sandia High School and University of New Mexico. Worked for American Furniture Warehouse. He attended Destiny Church where he taught the Youth group. Survived by mother, Anna Benton; step-father, William Benton; sister, Amy Wohlgemuth, San Diego, CA; brothers, James Rivera, Gilbert Rivera, and Louis Rivera; and nephew, Rosendo Rivera. He will also be missed by close family friend, Vicky Booker, and he was a father figure to Shalaka Booker and Brittany Booker. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, with reception at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial at 7:00 p.m. at Destiny Church of Albuquerque, 5300 2nd St. NW, Albuq.NM 87107
