Larry T. Bedford, 73, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 at the family home. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Tommie; children, Terrence Bedford and wife, Deborah of Bothell, WA, Nicole Byrd and husband, Lamont of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Brittany and Jordan Byrd, Olivia and Devon Bedford; sisters, Lurlene Furnell, Daisy Mason and husband, Henry, Ella McCoy and Carolyn McCray and husband, Joe, all of Conway, AR and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Bedford was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Louise Bedford and his brother, Cleveland Bedford Jr. He was a successful business man in New Mexico for over 40 years as CEO/Owner of Bedford Enterprises/Waste Equipment. Mr. Bedford was an active member of the North Albuquerque Lions Club for many years and loved hunting, fishing, camping, and working in his yard. He was able to harvest an Elk on his last hunting trip. Should you go first and I remain to walk the road alone I'll live in memory's garden, dear with happy days we've known. In Spring I'll wait for roses red, In Summer - lilacs blue; In Autumn when the brown leaves fall I'll catch a breath of you. Services will be Saturday, May 17, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
