Obituary for BESERRA

Jennie S. Beserra, 79, a resident of Albuquerque passed away May 9, 2008. Mrs. Beserra is survived by her children, Victor Beserra and wife, Diane, and Carmelita Beserra-Dedig and husband Bob; two sisters, Beatrice Beserra and Connie Padilla; four grandchildren, Adam Beserra, Victoria Beserra, Shane Dedig, and Samuel Dedig; many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Manuel Beserra; sister, Nena Apodaca; brothers, Gilbert Sandoval and Rudy Sandoval; special companion, Ernie Olague. Mrs. Beserra was a member of the Catholic Church, a Women's Auxiliary Member of Post 99, volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital for twenty years, and taught catechism at San Ignacio Catholic Church for many years. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Lena Apodaca. Final visitation will be Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Our Lady of Asumption Catholic Church, at Lomas and Tenessee NE, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Father Mike Cimino, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Beserra, Rudy Beserra, Carlos Beserra, Patrick Beserra, Ron Beserra, Robert Padilla, Alex Padilla, Paul Padilla, Augie Apodaca and Rick Apodaca.
