Consuelo B. Romero was born December 5, 1926, in Douglas, Arizona. She passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008, at the age of 81. She was a member of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. Consuelo will be remembered as a beloved mother, sister and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Catarino Romero; her mother, Amalia Beltran Romero; her brothers, Manuel Romero and Greg Romero and her sister, Hope Flores. Consuelo is survived by her children, Joseph Chavez and wife, Enid, Elizabeth Espinoza, Philip Chavez and wife, Lisa; siblings, Carmen Romero, Louis Romero and Linda Belsito; grandchildren, Jennifer, Lawrence, Philip Jr., Brianna, Michael, and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Kevin and Nolan Myles; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Memorial Services will be held at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 4th and Mildred NW, on Friday, May 9, 2008. The Rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. followed immediately with the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial. The burial will take place in Douglas, Arizona with the date and time to be determined.
