Obituary for BLOOMFIELD

Gerald R. "Jerry" Bloomfield age, 70, and a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Jerry graduated from Valley High School in 1956, from UNM in 1963, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming in 1966. He was a prominent Albuquerque Attorney for the past 41 years. Jerry was a member of Temple Lodge #6, Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple, the Scottish Rite and, as well, he was retired from the Carpenters Union Local #1319. Jerry will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, R. Rodell and Florence Bloomfield. Jerry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gladys; son, John and Fiance, Alizabeth Apodaca; and children, Angelica and Ronnie; daughter, Lori; sisters, Johnna Yarbrough, Janiece Loveland and husband, Max, Cathe Collard and fiance, Ken Corazza; four nephews; three nieces; and their spouses and families; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Service will be held at Los Altos Church of the Nazarene, 215 Erbbe NE, on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., with a reception following the Services.
