Former New Mexico State Auditor, Harroll H. Adams, died Saturday May 3, 2008, of end-stage renal failure. Adams served as State Auditor from 1987 to 1991. Adams was born on July 15, 1925, in Travis, Texas. Harroll is survived by his wife, Ruth Adams, former Albuquerque City Councilor. His daughter Mary Adams Oleksak, her husband, Mike Oleksak, and their two sons, Sam and David, live in Boston, MA. His other daughter, Liz Adams and her husband, Charles Leonard, and children, Katie and Adam live in Denver, CO. A Celebration of Life reception will be held on Saturday May 10, 2008, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Nativo Lodge at 6000 Pan American Freeway NE.
