Maria I. Sandoval went to meet her Savior on April 30, 2008. She was born in 1908 in Mapimi, Mexico. Came to the United States when she was four months old. She was preceded in death by her husband Moises, sons Raymond and Gilbert the first, Daughter Marcella Sandoval, grandsons Ronnie, Moises, Dennis Sandoval, Joe Gonzales, Rachel Encinias and Jeffery Paez the first, She is survived by daughters, Emma Manzanares of Bellflower California, Adela and Cornelio Gonzales, Julia (Peggy) and Tommy Carpenter, sons Gilbert and Genevieve Sandoval who were her care takers with their children, Juanita, Camilla (Anna) and Monica, and great grand child Katheran Revak all of Jemez Springs, Johnny and Genevieve Sandoval of Los Lunas, Robert and Theresa Sandoval of Rio Rancho, 34 grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren and 36 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Chris Manzanares, Rudy Gonzales, Raymond Sandoval, Gilbert Sandoval Jr. Patrick Sandoval, Anthony Sanchez and Eric Sandoval. Honorary Pallbearers are Kenny and Jimmy Sandoval Kathy Sanchez, Mark, Jeffery and Timmy Paez, Manolito and Diego Sanchez which she helped raise. All her grand children and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. We wish to thank Hospice of the Sandias, Enchanted Hills Home Healthcare Agency, Arleen Garcia, Susan Cart-Powell and Loretta Sandoval for all their help. A Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Mary Mother of Priests Catholic Church, with a Rosary to follow at 6:30 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, also at Mary Mother of Priests Catholic Church.
