Mary G. Sanchez passed away peacefully with her family at her side on May 2, 2008 at the age of 87. She is survived by her sons; Erick Sanchez wife Karen, Jude Sanchez, wife Sharon and daughter Myra Gonzales, husband Roque. Grandchildren; Brian Sanchez, wife Kerri, Dawn Sanchez, Eric Jason Sanchez, Chad Sanchez, Michael Yoffee, Jon Yoffee, wife Marianne, Aaron and Rachael Gonzales. Great grandchildren; Kevin, Michelle, Tanner Sanchez and Kenzo Jude Yoffee. She is also survived by her brothers Evaristo Gallegos Jr., wife Magdalena Gallegos, Arthur Gallegos, Arthur Gallegos, wife Esther, sister Christina Valdez, brother in law Lorenzo "Tudy" Sanchez all of Santa Rosa, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Inez Abel Sanchez and her sister in law Eralda Ulibarri. Mary was a devout Catholic who lived a pious life. She belonged to the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, and also participated in the Alter Rosary Society. She attended Highlands University and worked as a legal secretary. After raising her children, Mary worked at JC Penney's until her retirement. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grand mother and friend to many. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will be remembered as a giving, loving person with a kind soul. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 7 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. N.E. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Church followed by interment as Santa Fe National Cemetery.
