Romaine Mary Medrano, 65, passed peacefully away Thursday, May 1. She was born in Embudo, NM and raised in Costilla, NM. Romaine was preceded in death by her parents: Abel and Anna Martinez; brother: Abel Martinez; sister: Mary Archuleta; nephew: Roger Archuleta; and brother-in-law, Eloy Arellano. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Daniel Medrano; sons: Danny (Ellyn) Medrano, Anthony (Belinda) Medrano, Fernando (Michelle) Medrano, Christopher Medrano; daughter: Corrinne (Felix) Garcia; brothers: William (Erma) Martinez, Jesse Martinez; and sister, Lillian Arellano; grandchildren: Derrick, Evan, Dominique, Desirae, Anjelica, and Alyssa. Rosary will be Tuesday 7:00 p.m. at San Jose de Duranes Mission. Mass will be Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at San Felipe de Neri Church. Graveside service to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
