Ursula Heidfeld, a resident of Albuquerque since 1997, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2008, after a long illness. She was born on January 17, 1940, in Germany and came to the United States in 1969. Ursula fought cancer with great courage, grace, and spirit for 3 1/2 years. She loved life and laughter and devoted herself to her family. Ursula was a part-time fashion model and past President of the Albuquerque Newcomers Club. She is survived by her former husband, Reinhard Heidfeld to whom she was married for 40 years; her daughters Angela and husband Todd Springer, of California, Gabriele and husband Eric Herold of California, and Katja and husband Larry Hyman of San Antonio, TX. Ursula also is survived by her grandchildren, Tessa and Zachary Springer and Jessica and Brandon Herold. Her family and many friends close by and far away miss her so much and say good-bye.
