Edgar Neil (Hobo), 69, was called home Monday April 28, 2008. Edgar was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, July 22, 1938 to Willie and Clara Neil. Edgar was a landscaper for many years and enjoyed the work he did. Edgar was a resident of Albuquerque for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife Katie Neil; five children, Yolanda Jean Houston, Linda Kay Neil, Edgar Neil Jr., Carrie Neil, and Mary Ann Neil; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters Annie Pearl Pine, Nip Cole, Joe Jetter; brothers, James Neil and Luke Neil. A wake will be held on Sunday May 4, 2008 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services Coal Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. Palm Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services Coal.
