George. Our beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, George Salas, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 29, 2008. Born June 6, 1950, he was a Vietnam Vet & lifelong resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Romero and brother, Larry Salas. He is survived his wife, Helen Salas; father, Cipriano and wife, Mary Salas; stepfather, Tony Romero; son, Fernando Salas; step-sons, Christopher Caldwell, Butch, Tony and Randy Harris; daughter, Marie Chavez; step-daughters, Wendy Harris, Lorraine and Paula Ramirez; brothers, Jerry and wife, Liz Salas, Mike and wife, Tina Salas; Richard and wife, Rosa Salas, and Thomas Salas; sisters, Debbie Salas and family friend, Dolores Hernandez, Betty Otero and husband Jose, Karen Garcia and boyfriend, Jose Flores and Starlene Salas; 22 grandchildren and several neices and nephews. He will always be loved & deeply missed. Services will be held on Friday May 2, 2008 @ 10:30 a.m. at St. Annes Church, 1400 Arenal SW, Albuquerque.
