Obituary for KNOX

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Thursday April 24, 2008

Marjorie W. Knox, 80, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008. She was born March 22, 1928, in Punxsutawney, PA, the daughter of Daniel and Lydia Williams. Marjorie is survived by her son, William and his wife, Rosemarie, of Albuquerque; and her grandson, Bryan, also of Albuquerque. Marjorie first moved to Roswell, NM in 1951, where she was married. She settled in Albuquerque in 1956. Marjorie worked for over thirty years as an escrow officer and had fond memories of the many friends she gained during that time, especially Virginia, Stewart, Connie, and Elsie. She loved her family and her dogs and was most proud of her grandson, Bryan, and cherished the many hours she was able to spend with him. The family wished to express our gratitude to all those at St. Catherine's Healthcare who worked hard to make her last months comfortable, especially Janet, Candace, Victoria, and Sue. In keeping with Marjorie's wishes, no Services will be held. Instead she wanted everyone to take a moment to pray for peace in the world. Those wishing to honor her memory can make a donation in her name to the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, Inc., 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
