ETCS Frederic C. Knight, USN (ret), 54, a long time resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, April 19, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; son, Steven Knight; daughter, Analisa Knight; sisters, Marci Knight, Sharon Knight; brother, Randy Knight; and other relatives and friends. Frederic was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Sharon Knight. He was born on November 20, 1953, in New London, CT. Frederic entered the United States Navy where he proudly served his country for twenty years. He had various hobbies ranging from woodworking to gardening and loved to spend time fishing and hunting, anything to do with the outdoors. He also loved to collect art. Frederic was a loving father, devoted husband, and friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him. A graveside Service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, April 24, 2008, 10:30 a.m. with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Frederic's name may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Dept. of NM, P.O. Box 3907, Station D, 87190-3907.
