Robert J. Jaynes, 65, died Thursday, April 10, 2008. He was known as a great family man who loved the outdoors, camping, and was an avid fisherman. He also loved to dance and play poker. He had a great sense of humor and embraced life, kids and dogs loved him. He was a good man and loved by all who know him. He is survived by girlfriend, Sherry Schwan; son, Robert Jr; brother, Bill Jaynes and wife, Wanda; sister, Carolyn Salter; one granddaughter, Lori; and two great-grandchildren; nieces, Cassie Dawn, and Jonna; nephews, Jesse, Rocky, and Cole; and other nieces and nephews. Life Celebration Service will be held at Reflections on Monday April 14, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. Instead of flowers, please send donations to the UNM Childrens Cancer Fund.
