Ellera Judson "Cork" Corwin, Our honored and much beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, died on April 8, 2008. He is survived by his spouse, Beatrice Janet Stevenson Corwin; his children, Kathleen Annette Corwin, Linda Louise Corwin, Steven Kim Corwin and wife, Joanne; grandchildren, Derek Luthy and wife, Jenny; and their children, Natalie and Parker, Cory Corwin, BoMee Corwin, Micah Corwin, Mariah Corwin, Asia Corwin; his sister, Betty "Penny" Eastvold; brother-in law; sisters-in -law; nieces, nephews, and friends. Ellera Corwin retired from Sandia Laboratories. He was also a World War II veteran, a Purple Heart recipient, and a Prisoner of War in Germany's Stalag Luft III, participating in the events of the "Great Escape" in that prison camp. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
