Don Jose Ortiz, 58, of Albuquerque passed away at the family home on Monday, March 31, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Candido and Ursula Ortiz. Don is survived by his sisters, Mary Reeder of Lakewood, CO, Belinda Crosby and her husband, Robert, and Carol Schuster and her husband, Gary, all of Albuquerque; several nieces and nephews; and aunt, Alice Gomez, of Santa Fe. A Rosary will be held at French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2008. Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE, on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
