Dan, 71, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Good Friday, March 21, 2008 (THE LORD TOOK HIM ON A SPECIAL DAY) Dan was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 25, 1936. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gavina McGuinness; sisters, Mary Jo and husband, Vicente Armijo and Theresa Ortega. Dan was loved by his sons, Anthony Ortiz, Eddie Ortiz and his daughters, Merlinda Sandoval and Ruthie Eaton. He was also loved by all his grandchildren, Laura Trujillo, Michael Torres, Marie Torres, Michelle Torres, Dee Eaton, Devon Eaton and Deseri Eaton; and great-grandchildren, Raymond Finisten, Isabella Trujillo, JC Trujillo, Mia Trujillo and Savina Eaton. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all who knew and loved him. We will all miss him very much. Mass will be held at San Felipe Church on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery .
