Obituary for LOVATO

Julio Lovato, 93, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Born in Rosebud, NM on August 23, 1914 he moved to Mosquero, NM and graduated from Mosquero High School. He joined the family trucking business, taking over when his father died. Julio served his country honorably in the 8th Army Air Corps during WWII. He moved to Albuquerque after leaving the military to start a business and raise his family. He owned many bars in Albuquerque, his last bar being the Tropics Lounge. Julio always had a smile on his face and a story from his heart. Julio loved children of all ages, especially his grandchildren; Nicole Livingston, Cody LeMaster, Bayley Lovato, and Louis Lovato. Julio is survived by his brothers, Tony and David; his sisters, Tina Cohn and Rose Anderson; his son, Michael; his daughters, Becky Livingston and Lori Lovato; and many nieces and nephews. Julio was preceded in death by his wife Dorris; son, Julio, jr.; daughters, Roxanne Zibahalat and Pamala Trujillo; and brothers, Benny and Tom Lovato. A Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 a.m. with Funeral Service following at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Mt.
