Josie Contreras, 91, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2008. Ms. Contreras was born on July 20, 1916 in Peralta NM. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Contreras in 1993; a brother and four sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Margie Garcia; three sons, Johnny Contreras, Florencio Contreras, and Joe Contreras; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 717 Stover Ave SW. A Communion Service will be held on Friday, March 28th, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 820 Broadway Blvd SE. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
