Harold Chronis was called to his heavenly home on March 23, 2008. Harold was born January 18, 1921 at Arpin, Wisconsin. He received his education at Arpin and attended St. Andrews College at Berrien Springs, Michigan until the entry of the United States into World War II. On April 14, 1943 Harold married Iris Rasmussen. During the war, Harold served as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army, 1st Infantry Division in the European Theater of Operations. He was Honorable Discharged October 29, 1945 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Harold worked as a Production Manager at Chrysler Marine Corporation in Hartford, Wisconsin for thirty-one years before his retirement in 1984. In 1989, Harold and his wife Iris moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico. At the time of his death, Harold was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Rio Rancho and held the office of Financial Secretary for six years, and American Legion Post 118 in Rio Rancho. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Clifford, Marvin (Bud), and Walter. He is further survived by his wife Iris of Rio Rancho and twin sons James (Sharon) of Sought, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Charles of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Harold was cremated.
