M.C Lee Baca, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968 passed away on Easter Sunday March 23, 2008. He is survived by his sons, Richard Baca and wife, Beatrice and William Baca and wife, Maria; granddaughters, Carla Baca and Leanne Smith and husband, Cory, Julia Salome Toro, and one great-grandson Lorenzo Benavides. He was preceded in death by his wife, Novie Baca. Lee was employed by the Department of State for Foreign Services of the United States for 25 years. He served in seven countries including Latin America. After retirement he went to work in the Mexican Food Processing business and then later went to work for the UNM North golf course. In his leisure time, Lee enjoyed golfing and bowling. Lee was a loving husband, father, and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2008 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service time at Chester T.
