Herbert M. Poynter, Lt. Col. U.S.A.F (Ret.), age 79, of Albuquerque passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2008, at a local hospital. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE. A Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2008, at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will take place on Monday, March 17, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
